It all started in December 2011. Patrick Eischen, shareholder of Fuori Mondo, a small high-end vineyard in Tuscany, began distributing in China and quickly realized the risk of counterfeiting was very high.
Selinko was officially founded in September 2012 with a clear mission: protect valuable products through secure digital identities.
Since then, our solution has grown to serve more than 45 luxury brands across sectors such as Wines & Spirits, Leather Goods, Fashion, and Fine Watchmaking. We operate internationally with business conducted across Europe, America, Asia, and Africa.
In early 2024, Selinko entered a new chapter with its acquisition by TOPPAN, a global leader in printing and security technologies. This partnership provides Selinko with new resources and strategic reach to accelerate our development in the global market of product authentication, traceability, and digital identity.
Our team is spread across Europe, with Brussels and Paris as our main hubs, working in close collaboration with our colleagues in Tokyo.
